Baruntse Expedition

Mt. Baruntse (7129m) is a mountain in the Khumbu region snow peaks in the Himalayas of eastern part of Nepal, crowned by four peaks and bounded on the south by the Hunku Glacier, on the east by the Barun Glacier, and on the northwest by the Imja Glacier. Baruntse Peak was first climbed in 1954 via the south ridge by Colin Todd and Geoff Harrow of a New Zealand expedition led by Sir Edmund Hillary. It is an exciting adventurous for the climber who wants to climb a mountain higher than 7000 m. It possesses a high success rate of leveling the summit and returning safely.

This peak is a bit difficult to climb then other peak in Nepal and will be climbing within 40 days period. This trip will starts from Kathmandu to Lukla by flight. On the climbing way There are two high camps above the base camp-Camp I just below East Col at an altitude of 5700m and Camp II on South –East ridge at the height of 6420m.
