Simikot Kailash Trekking is located in far western Nepal. The height of Simikot is (2,910 m) the tour of Simikot Kailash starts 50 minute mountain flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot by small aircraft with a magnificent Views of Mt: Saipal. From Kathmandu to Simikot there is no any direct flight therefore first we fly or drive to Nepalgunj and fly over to Simikot. Flight from Nepalgunj to simikot operated only in Morning time because, of bad weather conditions, so we have to stay one night in Nepalgunj and next morning catch early flight to Simikot.
After Simkot we trying to flow the Karnali River and ascend up to the Nara La Pass (4,516 m) before to get to the dry Tibetan plateau. From simikot to border it takes 6 days exciting hiking trips around the Humla valley of Karnali to reach the Tibetan border town of Sher. Simikot Kailash trekking offers you great opportunity to see the far western traditional unique cultural life style, best view about the Mt: Saipal and gives to you plenty of time to acclimatize to higher altitude.
For this trek we take a trip all along ancient pilgrimage trails and trading relations, trekking across the boundary into Tibet to Mt: Kailash, the sacred holy Lake of Manasarovar, representing purity and Rakshas Tal Demons Lake, in place of power. From lake of Manasarover we head onto Mt: Kailash and after complete Kora, we descent back to Kathmandu via Zhangmu Tatopani Kodari border.
