Namo Buddha is about 40km far from Kathmandu valley. This place is located in Kavre District in the southeast of the valley. We can go here by local bus from Ratnapark, it will take around 3 to 4 hours. Also you can take a taxi from Kathmandu, it will take around 2 hours.
Namo Buddha is a beautiful place for day hiking tour. The place is very quiet and pure. Its environment is very clean, with no pollution, and the natural air is so fresh, cool and healthy. It is also the right place for meditation and practice. In the morning when you wake up, you can see a beautiful sunrise. In the evening you can see a wonderful sunset. You can enjoy snow-covered Himalayan ranges which look so amazing and pure.
Day 01: Drive to Dhulikhel via the lovely Newari village of Panauti. In clear weather Dhulikhel offers impressive views of the Himalaya - particularly at dawn. Namobuddha is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Valley, particularly significant to Tibetan Buddhists. It is associated with one of the Jataka Tales, which recount the previous lives of the Buddha.The 2-hour walk through fields, plantations and small villages is extremely pleasant and offers an excellent glimpse of rural life.
