Hiunchuli Peak Climbing

Hiunchuli peak (6434 m) is near to the Annapurna south but it is not difficult like Annapurna South Peak. On this trip visitors can view the panoramic views of the Annapurna giants. Hiunchuli peak was first climbed in October 1971. The trip includes many difficult climbs through icy trails, glaciers and steep slopes and requires an excellent level of fitness and previous Trekking and mountaineering experience.

Due to the remote location, Hiunchuli still remains an unfamiliar route only a few trekkers approached it. In this trail we can enjoy the sharp village, dark bamboo forest, unseen dangers of hanging glaciers, from the north the mountain rises suddenly above the moraines of the Annapurna south Glacier in a series of shabby defenses and an complicated and ill –defined North Ridge .The summit is enclosed on the east by a ridge that rises in an icy parabola, from which a sharp couloirs go down towards the moraines above the lodges at base camp. Hiunchuli peak requires certain experience and technicality because of the most complex climbs.
